David Gerrold, né le 24 janvier 1944 à Chicago, est un écrivain et scénariste de science-fiction américain.
David Gerrold est d'abord quelque temps acteur et réalisateur avant de se lancer sur la scène de la science-fiction.
Il travaille quelque temps en collaboration avec Larry Niven, écrit des scénarios pour Star Trek et compose plusieurs anthologies.
