Francis Barry Byrne est un architecte américain né le 19 décembre 1883 et décédé le 18 décembre 1967.
Il fut membre du groupe d'architectes Prairie School jusqu'en 1914-1916. Après son départ du groupe, Byrne a continué avec succès à développer son style personnel.
Francis Barry Byrne est né et a grandi à Chicago.
Après la visite d'une exposition du Chicago Architectural Club en 1902, il cherche à travailler avec Frank Lloyd Wright et bien que n'ayant pas de formation en architecture, obtient un poste d'apprenti.
